Burnsville Breakfast Rotary inducted two new members at their Sept. 23rd meeting at The Original Pancake House in Burnsville. They are Jason Sellers and Annette Bellows.
Burnsville Breakfast Rotary inducted two new members at their Sept. 23rd meeting at The Original Pancake House in Burnsville. They are Jason Sellers and Annette Bellows.
Sellers has been an educator for 27 years as a coach, teacher, principal, and coordinator at ISD ONE91 district office for the past four years, and is now the Director of Community Education for Burnsville-Eagan-Savage communities.
Sellers has earned his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History, as well as his Masters of Education Degree from the University of Minnesota. Sellers has also earned his K-12 principal licensure from Hamline University and hopes to complete his Doctorate in Educational Leadership next year. In 2019, Jason earned the Paul Harris Fellow Award as part of his contributions to ISD ONE91 and Rotary International.
Jason grew up in Minnesota and is an avid outdoors and sports enthusiast, as well as a diehard Gopher fan. Along with his wife Lana, Sellers loves to travel and enjoy other cultures of the world. In his spare time, Sellers officiates high school and traveling basketball, volunteers his time to Rotary, Foundation 191, Big Brothers, and the Animal Humane Society.
Bellows is the Branch Manager of the Burnsville Office of BMO Harris Bank and recently took over that role in June 2020. She has rich experience in the area of finance having previously been the CFO of Velocity Tech Solutions in Roseville, and prior to that managed the Sarasota, Florida Office of Fifth Third Bank. This is her second assignment with BMO Harris having worked there 15 years previously.
Bellows is a previous member of Richfield, MN. Rotary, and is thrilled to be back with the club! She has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, The Red Cross, All Faiths Food Bank, served as Ambassador for the United Way, facilitated an FDIC Financial Literacy course for ESL adults, and is a mentor for the Best Prep eMentorship Program which prepares high school students with business, career, and financial literacy skills.
Bellows has a daughter, Mary, who lives in Arkansas and is planning a wedding in May of 2022. Her hobbies include reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with family. Bellow said, “I believe that being a member of the Burnsville Breakfast Rotary will allow me to give back to the Burnsville Community, network with other Business Professionals, and further the mission of Rotary International.”
